Day 3: Show What You Know!
Today, you get to show your teacher what you have been learning. It is very important that you follow the directions very carefully and in the order they are given. Don't jump ahead! MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL THE DIRECTIONS IN A STEP BEFORE GETTING STARTED ON IT!!
Step One: Go through the Apostrophes Review SMART Notebook document below.

Step Two: Each person should have a clean sheet of notebook paper. On your notebook paper, you need to write down three complete sentences. In EACH SENTENCE, you need to include a contraction and a singular possessive noun. Make sure you choose a different contraction and singular possessive noun for each sentence. On your paper, underline your contraction and circle the singular possessive noun. **YOU AND YOUR PARTNER SHOULD EACH HAVE DIFFERENT SENTENCES!!** After both partners have finished, share your sentences with eachother.
Step Three: You will need your own Chromebook for this step. Log into Google Classrom. Carefully read the question your teacher has posted. In your reply, you need to include one of your sentences from your sheet of notebook paper. You also need to write which word is your contraction and which word is your possessive noun. See the example below as well as in your teacher's Classroom post for help on what this should look like.

"Don't pick the flower's pink petals off." Molly warned.

Step Five: Go back through your Notes Packet and make sure everything is complete and correct. Then you can go back and replay any of the games or activities from days 1 or 2.
